Domnul Jean-Christophe Rolland, Președintele World Rowing (Federația Internațională de Canotaj), a acceptat invitația de a fi prezent la Gala FRC – 100 DE ANI. În semn de apreciere pentru sprijinul și deschiderea pe care le-a arătat constant față de canotajul românesc, acesta a primit un premiu special înmânat de doamna Elisabeta Lipă, Președintele Federației Române de Canotaj, cea mai titrată canotoare din istoria acestui sport.
Prezența domniei sale a reconfirmat locul important pe care România îl ocupă în familia mondială a canotajului. Mulțumim pentru recunoaștere, pentru prietenia față de sportul românesc și pentru implicarea în dezvoltarea acestui domeniu la nivel global. Astfel de momente ne dau încredere că tradiția, valorile și performanțele canotajului românesc vor continua să fie parte din povestea internațională a acestui sport.

Mr. Jean-Christophe Rolland, President of World Rowing, accepted our invitation to attend the FRC Gala – 100 YEARS. As a sign of appreciation for the continuous support and openness he has shown towards Romanian rowing, he received a special award presented by Mrs.Elisabeta Lipă, President of the Romanian Rowing Federation and the most decorated rower in the history of this sport.
His presence reaffirmed the important place Romania holds within the global rowing community. We thank him for his recognition, for his friendship towards Romanian sport, and for his involvement in the development of rowing worldwide. Moments like these give us confidence that the tradition, values, and performances of Romanian rowing will continue to be part of the international story of this sport.
